Handbuilding in stoneware and earthenware at Finca el Cerrillo
Now in its fifth year, this week of potting at the splendid Finca el Cerillo
in the mountains of southern Spain offers tuition by Gordon
Cooke, a leading British ceramic artist.
A professional handbuilder and teacher for over thirty years, he has work in public collections in Europe, the US and Canada. His work is represented in many books on the subject.

Some of the pots will be smoke fired, the others will be ‘bisque’ fired, then glazed and re-fired to stoneware temperatures on return to UK. Unusual and original techniques will be demonstrated.
There will be optional trips to the Alhambra or the Picasso museum in Malaga, walks in the flower filled mountains and several meals in local restaurants. We offer a high standard of accommodation in a beautiful setting with pool, library and a large air conditioned studio.
Minimum of ten students; maximum of twelve.
The price of a double or twin room is £TBA and includes
